Fish and seasons

Fish are in the Skeena & Kitimat watersheds all year, but access is limited over winter due to snow & ice. Our season generally runs from March to November. Below is a guide to the species you may catch and when. 

We are open for guided fishing from 20th March 2011 to the end of October:

• March & April - Steelhead, Dolly Varden, Trout and Cut Throat 
• May - Chinook (also known as 'Springs' & 'Kings') and Steelhead
• June - Chinook
• July - Chinook, Sockeye, Pink & Chum
• August - Chinook, Sockeye, Pink & Chum with later Steelhead
• September - Steelhead and Coho
• October - Coho, Steelhead, Dolly Varden, Trout and Cut Throat
